Babies) Donations While we have been very lucky with Kevin's health and progress, the March
of Dimes is an organization whose focus is infants, including
premature
babies like Kevin. From their website: "Our mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects,
premature birth, and infant mortality. We carry out this mission through
research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies' lives.
March of Dimes researchers, volunteers, educators, outreach workers and advocates
work together to give all babies a fighting chance against the threats to
their health: prematurity, birth defects, low birthweight."  The March of Dimes
was established by President Franklin Roosevelt (originally called the "National
Foundation for Infantile Paralysis) to conquer polio. Today, Roosevelt is
on the "dime". Coincidence?

community awareness of the gravity of prematurity, and to provide educational,
